June 28 - Open RRGCC Board Meeting

Post by Josephine »

i found this on the rrgcc.org site and didn't want anyone to miss it since i didn't see it on here elsewhere.
We invite all to the RRGCC quarterly meeting at Torrent Falls to hear about what’s going on in the RRGCC and to get your input. Climbing at Torrent Falls will be open after the meeting for all who attend and contribute.
it starts at 10:00 am

Would someone expound on the statement, "Climbing at Torrent Falls will be open after the meeting for all who attend and contribute."

I'd be more than happy to listen to what is happening, and express an opinion if asked (if I have one worth expressing). Is this what is meant by 'contribute'?

Also; where do you park for said meeting, what is the typical turn-out and how long does it last?

Thanks.

I would have posted on RRGCC, but this site usually elicits a quicker (and often more entertaining) response...

Following the meeting, which can take 1 or more hours of your time, you are free to climb at the cliff. Parking should be available at Torrent. You must attend the meeting though.

The last one I went to with the community involved, there was a lot of participation and interested individuals. It turned out very well.

This thread was sitting open on my laptop. Hit the back button on my browser, closed the window and then quit the app. Got an email notice that a reply had been posted and reopened to find I have somehow double-posted(?).

Not sure what happened...

Sorry if it was something I did inadvertently...
