I have been using the Metolius Medium Size Super Cam for a couple months now but haven't seen anyone else that had them on there rack. I was just wonering if anyone out there had them and what they thought about them. Personally I love mine, I have found it to be a good oh shit piece as well as a piece that can be where a c4 might not fit as well.

I played with one in the gear store the other day. I can see your point about the "oh shit piece"...I like the omega pacs for my oh shit pieces.
I would never say chuck any gear off a cliff! LOL Give it to me I will dispose of it for you.

I have placed the orange omega a few times and I like it ok, but for some reason I can't always get as good as placement with it as i want, plus to me it feels heavy and unstable. That's why i like the supercam a little bit better.

What the hell is a C4?
I hear people throw that around all the time nowadays.
I used to go golfing by myself on Fridays. I got paired up with a couple old guys who had all the new gear... Nike balls, expensive clubs, spikes, gloves.
I had flipflops, a muscle shirt, a superman golf bag with goodwill hodgepodge clubs, and balls found in the woods.
Schooled em.
Thats what "C4" reminds me of.

Little cutlets of swine you are soooo predictable. You don't trad so just stuff it.
You and I will rise in the annals of great adversaries:
Batman and the Joker; Superman and Lex Luther; the Avengers and Ultron; Spiderman and Dr. Octopus; Betty and Veronica; Dr. T. Venture and the Monarch; and Andrew and Anticlimber.
We will play the game of cat and . . . . also cat!

They are the current line of full sized camelots. I'm guessing you knew this though. I only know because the guy that designed them was my climbing partner in college.

But don't they do the EXACT same thing as every other damn cam on the market?
Age old wisdom:
"If it ain't broke, fix it anyway so you can sell it to all the gear monkeys who have perfectly operable "old" cams but need cool new shiny ones that will somehow better protect the 5.8 they've scared themselves half to death on and turned into a 5.11 because they're carrying 3827 lbs. of shiny "new" cams with a cool new name."
