Okay.....you all know how much shit I caught from saying I was going to put the route information for the Solar Collector in the online guide right?

I got emails from people who got pissed just because someone posted directions in a thread once. So I deleted the thread.

Well...now the RRGCC is planning to buy the Solar Collector and other areas in the Southern Region so they want to promote the area by providing me with route information for the online guide (as if I can't get the information myself). Now they're complaining because some facts are wrong in the guide (FA information, route names, the shit that people don't care about).

Is this fucking ironic or what???? First they bitch because the information is visible to the public. Now they bitch because a couple of the route names are incorrect.

I can climb all the routes too and get an idea of the ratings. It ain't too hard to tell someone where a grid bolted route lies in relation to another grid bolted route.

I agree that there's a lot of bitching going on. Access is a serious issue but climbing is supposed to be fun. Sometimes things just need to be taken lighter...by everyone. Also, there are so many ways to raise money and I've noticed that none of those have yet to be attempted. Hmm. Makes one wonder what's up. I've expressed this sentiment before.

Man, Gretchen, what kind of organization makes decisions without full approval from the ranks? That's pretty lame that they decided to "give" me "highly visible public information" without approval from you and Shannon. How do you give something away that's already free anyway?
