Gold Coast

Post by ray »

Anyone know why the Gold Coast referred to as the Gold Coast when it's actually the same wall as Solar Collector? I can understand the separation with walls like Lower, Middle and Upper Small Wall but Gold Coast is like right around the corner from Solar Collector.

Maybe...because the walls are an orangish gold color.

Yea, I know that much. Usually a wall is given a name, not sections of a wall. I'm just gonna call the whole wall Gayville.

I think it is pretty obvious Ray. It would get confusing if the numbering of SC was into the teen's and you aren't in eyesight of SC#1. It is just easier to start the numbering when you get over there with GC#1. See it all makes perfect sense.

Dang, and I thought you were just into cross dressing. What happened to the suitcase full of sawdust?

Good beef Ray! Slapping names to sections of the same wall always seemed funny to me...like at the Lode.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

It is pretty common at other areas as well. Like Looking Glass, Owens river, NRG, etc. It can be really confusing when first trying to find the way around new areas that do that, but the red isn't nearly as bad as some other palces.

It looks like completely different textured rock to me. it is really pretty and, damn it, it deserves its own name.
