Someone(thomas?) posted that there is new beta for the crux of Elephant Man.

Does the new beta skip the undercling move to the left?

What exactly is the beta?

Thomas uses the same beta as you jr, his comment in the online guidebook refers to the moves between the fifth and the sixth bolt (after clipping the fifth).

To be honest, he is getting so strong I'm not sure he actually found a crux.

"Mr. Fabulous" IS getting way strong! How's his sun tan?

his tan is poor, considering that chriss likes to climb at shady crags all the time. but the beta I am talking about is after the fifth bolt, after the drive through move to the sloper and the mini jugs. I bust right to a side pull and use some pockets.

That beta is not approved Thomas, therefore we are taking your send away from you. Shame on you for using unapproved beta.

Thanks I will check it out.

JR's tan is also poor. JR needs to get back to Elephant man. His beta might be OK but Thomas's beta might be better.

Take the send away, see what I care, that beta is great! Send away JR and we will name it something cooler than elephant man

Greg, tall people just climb that way. It is not their fault. If you do a search you can find an explanation on why it is hard for tall people to climb. I think it was by Lurkist.
