"Hey fuck you, dickhead."...hmm, sounds like the response of someone who is blantantly denying something he never did, therefore that makes them guilty of the issue that never happened. Is that the rationale that is being used to say the chipping DID happen? Now I am really confused. You tell OW to 'get the facts straight" since he wasn't there, but then you feel liberty to use third hand info (since you weren't there) to start a flame and attack the "lord of the manor" as you like to cynically call it. Personally, I think many people on here are just stuck in the 80's when they had this wonderful place to themselves. Super lame. But I am dense and subtlety is not my forte, and I acknowledge that fact, so I will take another whipping to clear my head. Bell bottoms and bolting forest service land without permission are gone.

now that being said, I have the highest respect for the early pioneers, even if it is just looking at their lines. snyd, you are amongst that elite group, but I still ain't fluffin' for the main event.

trey, of course I'd take them to the Lode..the lode is super rad, and I can't even climb 10% of the lines there. historical accuracy is super important. I think we are all on the same page.

btw, I was climbing here in the mid 90's...just not bolting, and sure as hell not strong enough to hang at the lode.

Yeah "fuck you dickhead" was prolly the wrong thing to say. It is obvious that your reading comprehension skills are well below the level required to understand the drivel on this board. I'm not denying anything. Please get someone who can read and comprehend English to help you understand the difference between outright lying and innuendo.

Um, I just want to make a corrrection for Pigsteak. Bell bottoms made the fashion must-have list for Fall 2007.

"overhanging crimp ladder" wasn't that Sharma's impression of the Red 10 years ago when he came here with Katie Brown? Maybe he'll feel differently this time.
Wasn't his fault. I was there the day they brought him to the Red. Of course, Jeff Moll and company took him straight to the Lode.

What he climbed were overhanging crimp ladders...

Huh? What? You weren't there. He was staying with the Brown family and they were the ones giving him the tour. Get your facts straight before you start busting blatant lies.
Where would you have taken him, Hampton's Wall, Muscle Beach, Indian Creek? The quotes that we would have out of him about The Red would be in a whole different league if the tour was left to you.
Nope. Wrong again. Who he was staying with is not important. I worked at Climb Time at the time, and Jeff Moll, at least according to Jeff Moll, was giving the tour of the Motherlode. Most of the employees of Climb Time Cincy were there. I don't even remember Katie Brown being there. Doesn't mean she wasn't.... but I don't remember it.

I did say "Jeff Moll and company", or do you have trouble reading when you haven't taken your medication?

I had just started climbing... less than 8 months, so I wouldn't have taken him anywhere. I certainly think the 13's at Millitary and Left Flank may have more variation than the ones at the Lode. Not saying there aren't good routes there, but if you put a guy on crimp ladders, what else is he gonna report about?

My, you're awfully defensive of things you really have no idea about...

lol..easy enough buster, but my wife refuses to participate in the many hours that I waste on here. And my dog can read less English than I....

And about getting facts straight...

If you can't name everyone at the crag that day, then you have no idea whether I was there or not. You outright say I was not there. What gives you the right to "bust blatant lies" even if the facts don't fit your version of "historical accuracy"?

Even if Jeff Moll was NOT giving the tour, the Lode still consists of crimp ladders. Its still what he climbed.

We could talk about something more interesting then a quote made 10-years ago by someone who probably doesn't remember making it.
