I don't have a dilemma...
I simply inquired as to how others deal with it if "they" do.
I'll wanted opinions - I got em.

jabbathehut, Faith = Ignorance? yeah, that's why I don't trust boyfriends.
So what are you going to do with all these "opinions"?

Well here's mine-
I diddn't have the dilemma at all, I was an atheist from 18 to 22.
My mother asked me why I stopped going, I told her 'If I don't belive in god, what function does church serve? '
While no longer an atheist, I have not attended church for almost five years, save couple random times when I played the orgen and directed a choir in a getto Cincinnati church (filling in for a friend), so I have no dilemma about it.
But, now that I think about it, it would be nice to go to church, but I havn't seen a worshipful church since I left the Chicago area.
Futher supporting my lack of guilt is that attending church is not what regenerated my belief in god- climbing did.

I'll go ahead and give you another opinion. I am a Christian, but I don't go to church that often. Especially when I want to climb. I figure that it's not the church that makes me what I am, but what I believe. Sure, it's good to go to church for fellowship and to continue learning. But, I'll be honest...I'd rather climb when it's nice outside. I can enjoy God's beautiful creations when I'm outside.

Thanks for the props Jab. And yes thanks for reminding me that Jackson Fall is the coolest bad-ass hard-core sport climbing area in the World...and of course all the bad-ass climbers that climb there are the strongest coolest people in the World
Too bad Sharma never climbed there...I might have some respect for him then..
