What's the deal with 'blue raspberry'? There are gold, red and 'black' raspberries (as you can tell, I love raspberries!), but no 'blue' raspberries. Obvioiusly sno-cone/slushy flavoring is totally artificial, but who thought it would be good to call it 'blue raspberry'?
By the way, are there wild raspberry patches around the Red? I once got to eat myself sick (in a good way) on wild raspberries in Montana! Mmmmm! Just me and the bears!

Good question. I don't know of any natural blue raspberries. Hmm.
I don't think there are any raspberry patches but there are blackberry patches at the Lode. FYI, watch for rattlers. They like to nest in those bushes and will strike if you stick your hand in there. Just be careful.

Has anyone ever notice the tremendous amount of blueberries growing in the Red around the 2nd or 3rd week of September? Yum! Yum!

Where is the nearest snow cone stand to Slade? I will gladly pay $30 per half hour if they build me a pillar of ice.

At the Via Ferrate, but they don't make snow cones in it anymore.
