maybe you guys can use a word other than evolution for what you're trying to get at? there's some pretty sloppy terminology in the works here... the kind of vague psychological or spiritual "growth" on an individual level you fellas are talking about has nothing to do with evolution as the term is defined: continuous genetic change on a species-wide level occurring over many generations in response to selective pressures.

sorry to be such a scientist, but... just sayin'.

yeah i don't mean it other than in the growing/changing in relation to pressure/learning/understanding.

not the same i know, also as a science nerd, but if the mind can be restructured and "changed" to fit a better niche than it is somewhat of an "evolution"

Yeah, I didn't know the word was limited to the context of species and genetics, but I've never looked it up. I just mean progression, growth. No matter, words can't fully express what we're talking about anyway.

And I know what you're saying too, anti. I understand that not everyone is going to accept it. But I'm making threads like this and having conversations with people when it feels like I should, just to plant the seeds of thought for whoever may happen to stumble upon the text or hear a tidbit of what is being said. I just feel like it's important to keep putting out bits of information like this. Like in this case, maybe someone who needs to see it happens to be browsing on redriverclimbing reading the forums. You know what I mean?

That doesn't really make sense to me. I don't see how, if you figure it out in this lifetime, you could regress to something of lesser consciousness in the next. Wouldn't you be able to come back as something equal or even greater once you understand the nature of how we manifest here?

"manifest here"...what in the world does that mean....for real, what does it mean, in english.

If i get reincarnated I would like to come back as a rock deep underground. That way I wouldn't have to put up with bullshit for thousands of years.
