So, if the problems at a *benchmark* area aren't really all that much better then the known, published problems at the red, does that make bouldering at the red better? Or does't it mean many areas are *benchmark* just because of the western bais?

Easy Wes...I was just messing with you. If this forum is suppose to be all fun and games then why do people get so bent out of shape.
Anyways...I am totally with you, bouldering is really cool...bouldering boils everything down to the one thing I like most about hard sport climbing...CRUX moves.
Horsetooth was fun and I was really lucky to run into a local that showed me all the good stuff. Takes BIG BALLS to do any of the problems on the mental block!! The elinmintor boulder was my favorite!!
But...because I drive 4 hours to the BEST sport climbing in the country, I have a hard time wasting time on the boulders. But I sure there is good stuff for all the locals!!

Nope, but my maxi sized misty kinda matches the smaller misty. I do have a cool red velvet kreig chalk bag though.

rhunt...yawn...can you get some original material? That "get in the kitchen b%*#*" line of thought has been used so frequently that it doesn't bother me. It just shows your lack of imagination.
