bandoleer sucks, period

the coffee shop is way better than either of those routes. hell the approach to the coffee shop is better.

See anti, this is exactly what I was talking about in the other thread. Bandoleer is long and overhanging. It has edges, underclings, pockets, flakes. It's certainly better than 95% of the routes of similar grade. What is so bad? What is the problem? Why so unappreciative? If this route what at NRG or Sinks Canyon, locals would be spraying about it being a classic.

Whichever route doesn't end on a jug is the worst...

i think that it is an overrated, stand-in-line, over-holded pile of shit with, " a realy cool fifteen feet" at the top. i watched people wait and wait for that thing all the while the "better" routes (of which centerfire is the shit) sat open. i'm not complaining, i didn't have to wait. its just that so many people rave, i mean drooling rave about that pile and i don't think it's any better. my opinion, which is what this is all about. i'll climb it yes. do i like it, not really.

plus that ledge is way gay.

first off....having another quality route nearby does not affect the quality of said route

second....the masses will always flock to the easiest line on the steepest part of the face

is centerfire better than bandolier....yes
does that make bandolier any worse.....no
is bandolier better than both recoil and receiver....yes

if receiver was 11a and bandolier was 11b/c no one would be on bandolier
