I didn't mention that in the report? Yeah, that's what was ironic about the whole thing! I thought I mentioned that, but I must have edited it out and forgot to put it back in...well, I'll fix it sometime today...
Oh yeah, I'll also add that tomdarch is an awesome rope gun!!!

So what did everyone work on this gorgeous weekend? I was loving the 11 wall at Torrent, I hadn't been on Centerfire before and I thought it was a pretty sweet route!

I have one word to describe my weekend: productive. I knocked off Kick Me in the Jimmy and Wild Yet Tasty this weekend. I also had a chance to get on Heart Shaped Box and it kicked MAJOR ass. I got through all the moves, now I just have to work on linking it.

I also got into (and lost) a brawl with three angry hornets trying to defend their 20,000 square foot nest in that bush at the top of Twisted (more toward Reacharound). I have a knot on my chin, the back of my neck and my forearm. I feel like the frikkin' Elephant Man.

Kick ass, Sik! I know you've been wanting KMINJ for awhile now.

I lost a battle with a hornet this weekend, too. I was literally 5 feet from the anchors and, after being attacked a few times without being stung, I decided to give it to him and down aid. The bugs sure are angry this time of year!
Does he have a strange bear claw like appendage protruding from his neck? He kep petting it.

With weather like this, after all that rain I know that everyone had a good weekend. I had a great weekend chasing the shade at Sky Bridge ridge, which can be done. It was nice and quiet all weekend long and the temp. in the shade was perfect. This crag has to have the best face climbing in the East Coast! I had a super productive weekend there ticking off 6 new climbs that I had never been on before. I can't wait to go back.

You ain't kidding Power2U. That place has the best freakin' crimp/tech fests in the Red. Soul Ram has to be one of the most intense routes around.
Dave the Dude, Corpus Delicti, Martin Rides Again, Rifleman.....DAMN! I dream of those routes. Almost all of them have some heartstopper moves far above the bolts too.

Got out to Bob Marley and yup.........it's as steep as they said it was. Nothing like cranking out a horizontal roof. I used to think the only way to get horizontal for more than 3 feet was to climb trad. This crag proved me wrong.
