the FS won't ban dogs. just you wait and see. you can't have them on state park land, (trails and such) leash or no leash. dog's are one of the biggest problems land managers face in regards to problems that can't be kept track of.

and the dog wasn't aggressive, he's just playing.

I agree with Pru and anticlimber, All the cliffs that are open to the public allow dogs today, MV will not allow dogs as of Jan 1st 08'

And dogs are becoming a large threat to climbing access. Yet its really an easy problem land owners/managers will just not allow them on their lands. I am sure if the RRG forest service were to say that dogs are causing problems with cliff bases, for example, they would say no dogs at climbing areas. Yet as Pru pointed out a ban on dogs at climbing areas would not really be fair, they would have to ban dogs at all areas.

yeah, dope smoking just introduces a whole new level of environmental impact. Thank god I had a proper moral upbringing and would never attempt such a contemptuous action.

yeah and they should ban cig smoking and swearing and trad climbing and carry a crash pad to a rope climbing area and using a biner to clip your chalk bag to your harness and wearing socks with climbnig shoes and two-way radios at sport climbing areas and groups over 4 in line for one climb and book bags as climbing packs....etc.

Dogs aren't the worst threat to closure, humans are.

Still, everyone obey the freaking rules and tell people whne you see them breaking them.
