I was reflecting on the history of route names memorializing people and episodes that occured at or around the time a particular route was put up. The Red has a proud history of fixing in history a permanent record of a diss on a poor dude who did something stupid that someone thought deserved ridicule.
Routes that come to mind- There Goes the Neighborhood (in honor of Porter finding out about Funk Rock)
The Infidel (Porter's response to TGTN-above being named in his honor.
Convicted- named for a innocent dude being convicted of stealing from Jeff Moll.
The Verdict- same
BBBB (Bozo's Bogus Booty Biner) named for yours truely supposedly stealing leaver biners off of anchors - not true.
Dirty Smelly Hippie- named after a dude that was that.
Crime Time- named after Jeff Moll and his former business.
The Return of Darth Moll- again in honor of Jeff Moll.
The Castle has Fallen- still too recent and touchy to review
Uncle Jedd's Revenge- after Scott Brown was called out for making disparaging remarks about the gene pool of Kentucky in the Climbng Mags.
and the list goes on...
anyone got any others? I think they tell the history of the developement of the area.
If ever there was an episode worthy of slander, this current one is it.
