Wow, I've been gone for a few days and had a LOT to catch up on!!
I have to say I agree with Spragwa here. On leadership issues, the volunteers that have tried to help and been shot down so many times they don't offer any more. Heck, even if you're hired to do a job you're treated the same. Nothing is ever right because it's not done the micro-managers way. BTW, I'm happy to add my name to the list of those who would be happy to help out if "permitted".
Gone are the days of me trying to help only to hear how I've done everything wrong and am useless. I won't deny there is a lot of bitterness here. I don't have time for that type of BS. What's that saying about not looking a gift horse in the mouth? I doesn't apply to the RRGCC I guess.
It sad really, because I love what the RRGCC is "supposed" to stand for and do. If it could only happen! A change in leadership would be an excellent start, but with all the damage done over the years, it would still take time to heal, for people to see the change is real, and be willing to put themselves out there again. I sincerely hope it can happen!
