I don't think people take their dogs to bowling alleys just maybe... most dogs I see go ahead of their owners on the trail, as such the dog will get to your hang/belay before said owner, this probably leads to the most conflict, I deal with it and if I feel like stressing over something I come up with a real problem. When dogs in the woods becomes an issue for me I think it will be time to kill myself, perhaps that outlook would work for others?
