Corporate Whore wrote:and for everyone who didn't come to lago's the other night, you missed an excellent show from the nameless band.
Actually thier name was something like "'the Finger lickin good pickers"
They play in and around Lex fairly often. Two of the members of that band also are in another band called "the Betweeners".
Both are highly recommended listening.[/b]

The event was amazing ! I was floored at how many people showed and the amount of work that was completed. The climbing community around the Red is truly amazing. So many people to thank and I know I would miss some so a huge THANKS to everyone involved.
and Paul the band has my vote for RF !

Good times for sure. Lots of hard work followed by some great music, beer, food, and hanging out with some of the coolest kids around.
Several new lines were bolted this weekend, and the new wall is going to be super popular! Just need to get the info into the online guidebook....

I remain amazed at how much we got done. New trails, rehabbed trails, new routes, everyone did great during the hot August weekend. Then, we had a party, and it was awesome!
Thanks everyone, it was a great tribute to John and Alex and I think they would be pleased with the outcome.

Do we have any stats on the work that was actually done (e.g. # of routes that went up)?

I'd also like to see how many feet of trail were created.

Nah man, we should request in inches. How many inches of trail went up? BTW, there was one trail near leading to the What About Bob? wall that is one of the best trails I've seen in the Red. I think it was Charlie and company.
