WHOOO HOOOO! I believe it's time we formed the RRGCLM---the Red River Gorge Climber's Lynch Mob. We could lynch anyone who we THOUGHT was doing wrong by us. Their punishment would be to make them climb the dirtiest, chossiest route in the Red naked until they had no more skin on their front from falling repeatedly while wearing only one of those cheap assed gym harnesses. The only question is....who would direct such a noble organization? :)

HF-Shannon answered your post on the RRGCC site, check it out.

Artsay, my intention is not to come off harsh, I just write in a direct, concise manor. Just how I work. If you know me well enough you know that I am a direct person. But I will certainly continue to speak for the RRGCC since that is what I have been asked to do.

Unfortunately the tone that Spraqwa did take in her initial post came off very confrontational and judgemental and pointed indirect fingers at people. I don't see anyone asking her to change her tone!

Just to jump back to Shannon's post - Thanks! That helps to clarify things a great deal. I realize that the organization has grown a great deal over the last few years, and it is now at the point that statements like this one are comming out in a timely manner after things happen. But I want to say that I hope that the organzation can continue to grow and mature to the point that it can, so some degree, anticipate the concerns of members and other climbers and make 'preemptive' statements. This would help even more.

In order to get there, I would certainly support the creation of a paid position within the coalition.
