Captain Static. If I had to choose one person, in this forum, who will take the time to do the research, it is you. So it surprises me that you haven’t research the past threads for the last two weeks and found the reasons that JH is standing in the front of the class with chalk in his hand, and his peers are waiting for his response. I’m surprised that you don’t understand why JH’s friends and others such as Wicked Tribe are waiting for apologizes.

No this is about JH being part of a community, in which he has a place, and being responsible for his actions. He set the rules, he came on mandating answers, he received his answers. Now: do we not have the right, to expect answers to the 21 questions posed to him?

And if you don't like the questions I posed, feel free to add or modify any of them. Just make sure that when JH is finished he has a better understanding of the political environment that directly and indirectly impacts climbing.

JH we are still waiting.

You should have been doing this from day one. Why are you just now working towards this? How can we help if we are kept in the dark? Why are so many of us, MOST OF US, the "uninformed"?

To answer the question regarding the RRGCC's nonprofit status and tax exempt number.

The RRGCC is a Kentucky nonprofit corporation. Please visit the link below to see the RRGCC offical status.

The RRGCC's federal tax number is 31-1503651

I see this the same way I see local politics.

I don't pay attention to much of the stuff here at home with the parties and whatnot during election time. So..I am uninformed. Not because the information isn't available...but because I haven't went to find it or asked the right questions.

I have never climbed in the RRG, but when planning my trip, I researched a lot and found out all the information that I thought necessary in regards to access, local associations, camping, closures, current events/issues etc. I knew the answers to some of the questions that JH was asking......because I INFORMED MYSELF.

Also,

Thank you Shannon and all other members and volunteers for your time, dedication and commitment to the RRG climbing. There are thousands of climbers like me who wish to enjoy the crags in the RRG on road trips for years to come. It is because of people like you we have access to many places around the world to climb.

When I come to the RRG, I would LOVE to volunteer some of my time and expertise to anything you should need. It is the least I can do.

TK, we have been providing information from day one. First, with meetings back in 1997, then a kiosk, then newsletters, then a web site, now two web sites, the RRGCC Local Rep Network, the video "The Freedom to Climb is Not Free," three Climbing Derby Fests, two Roctober Fests, five stewardship days, three Adopt-A-Crag days, the CAC meetings, strategic planning meetings, the Gym Talking Series, and several other meetings, such as the Forest Plan Workshop meetings, and much more.

We have been putting information out in the public domain from day one. And as I said, are committed to continue to doing so.

The shear number and diverstiy of climbers is enormous, and even taking the time to make these posts is time consuming.

This will be the last post of this afternoon I will be able to make. I will check back in tomorrow.

Cause you're not qualified to be in the light maybe?

Shannon (et al.) have answered every question I've ever asked starting back in the day when the RRGCC was weeks old. I had many conversations about my concerns before I became a member and I seriously didn't have much trouble finding someone to ask. Still don't. You seriously don't know when the CAC meetings are? You cannot honestly tell me you don't know a single person who's name is listed on the RRGCC website?

It's a poor worker who blames his tools.

This is what I have been trying to say all along...thanks CCG

JH, before you get on this web page and ask a bunch of questions to the RRGCC, try and find the answers yourself first...most of them are out there. Plus I think this web page is NOT the place...www.rrgcc.org has a forum that you should use next time you have questions.

Thank Shannon for answering JH's questions that was nice.

But next time he starts his crap we should just ignore him and let the thread die...

TK. Just for clarification Shannon represents the RRGCC and I am a business owner within the Red River Gorge. Shannon and I have a mutual respect for each other, but on occasion we openly debate issues. Not for the sake of debate. For it is not uncommon for two informed individuals, passionate about their beliefs, to have the occasional different perspective. And even though we don't always agree, Shannon is truly cardinalistic passionate about her cause. Always comes to the table informed. And for this I have a tremendous respect.

The information, in which we both use to base these beliefs, comes from a multitude of resources. It does require research, just as I have ask JH to do. "Chase the questions".

What I would love JH to do is: Complete his research, become self-enlightened, hold himself accountable for his actions. And then, share these views with me over a cup of coffee.

But right now I’m hoping he is in the library at EKU doing his research.
