So you found the little fucker. Lucky for him it was you. I've found his ticks on climbs from Bibliotek to Long Wall, although most of them have been thin and discrete. I've held a vendetta ever since a three star classic overseas was permanently defaced by a gym climber's pink and blue sidewalk circles around the jugs.

From the USFS,DBNF website:

Minimize climbing impacts
■Minimize chalk use and clean chalk off where you climb. Help out on local chalk clean-up days.

White, blue, or flourescent orange - chalk marks are seen by many non-climbers as a negative impact. Negative climbing impacts on public land may jeopardize access.

really, I would think that the only people complaining about what color the chalk is/was are climbers. What difference does it make for land managers if the chalk is white or blue or green or red? Honestly, the guy has it coming bad enough for graffitti'ing up the routes without demonizing him for "shutting down" access.

BTW. If said land managers are looking at the chalk they'd have to step over your dog and your gear, not to mention the dead guy who just got decked by his" I've been climbing ten years and thats never happened before!" belayer...

If anyone sees this guy please take a picture of him(stick the camera right in his face and get a good headshot) and post it in this topic. I'll make a wanted dead or alive poster and put in the kiosks. The mad ticker must be stopped.
