A fine gun, I'm sure. Just don't think any single shot would be the best choice for self defense.

Was thinking in terms of first priority being fun. But since you mention it, using a gun at all for home defense would be problematic with friendlies in the house. Unless I were to gather everyone into the room behind me before the threat got close, like in all the zombie movies. Can't remember a zombie movie where anyone survived, though.

Are you kidding? That was a comedy. That doesn't represent a true zombie apocalypse. To wit: double tap (rule #2), my a**. Zombies must be dismembered and the pieces burned. Otherwise, it would be a zombie annoyance, not a zombie apocalypse.

I got a friend, Mikee, who will hurt you if you start acting like a zombie. He'll say,"Now I'm warning you! Stop that Shit of I'll hurt you!". He for real means it. If you get into a discussion about zombies he does alright until you start talking about the "fast ones". He's divided zombies into two kinds, (1) The slow yet persistant. Not that big of a threat, you just gotta constantly keep your guard up and not get cornered. More of a nuiscense actually. About the same as dodging an ex-. Then there are the "fast ones". He'll still talk about it but he gets this whine in his voice and he starts looking around. He gets really uncomfortable. "What can you do about the 'fast ones'"?
