good pro, but there is a huge hueco kind of thing that has a bunch of choss that is a bit tricky to set a solid belay anchor. I ended up blowing out a couple pieces on a hard bounce test. there is another fun 5.9 up there. you can climb cavers and then just stay on the rock and climb a bunch of routes up there for lots of groovy grooves. One of my favorite climbing days.

Did you mean "Nevermore" when you said "cavers"? Wouldn't wanna confuse the kiddies...

Oh, I was confused as usual. I was talking about playing around on tower rock but you guys are talking about raven tower. For dead of winter you should bring some offwidth gear but I don't think the offwidth part was super hard but it was really fun. I think the slab to the top is free solo but not harder than 5.8 and probably easier.

And for more X-rated pleasure, with a 70 meter rope you can do a straight blast up Nevermore in a single pitch.

Lunatic Fringe
Blue Runner
Strick 9
The Underling
Starship Trooper

after that (perhaps before) there are a few i haven't been on that are beckoning. i will heed their call.
