I thoroughly enjoyed "2d hand Lions"; but I love taking my daughter to movies which are on a whole different level than all the above-mentioned movies.

The Last Castle or something like that. It was filmed at an old prison in Nashville.

I mean no disrepect but the Last Castle is a later southern prison movie.
In Brubaker I think Redford is a director of a State's corrections system and he goes undercover as an inmate to investigate prisoner abuse.

Close Christian. You are thinking of the correct one. Redford is a prison reformist who first goes in undercover but the majority of the movie is of him fighting the man.
