I don't know either. Maybe non-permanent installations? But some of them are "fixed" for a long time! Hmm... Removable gear? (without the aid of tools). How about... if it requires tools to remove it then it is a semi-permanent installation, but if it doesn't require tools for removal then it is non-permanent removable gear. Ah... therefore:
Hangers = semi-permanent fixed hardware
Quickdraws = removable non-permanent gear
