"Y'all" would like us a lot more if you didn't keep creating messes that we have to come down there to straighten out. e.g. Sherman's Act of Dicipline, Brown v. Board of Ed, etc.

I don't want to lump Kentuckians in with Texans, but, damnit, we are going to have to do something about Texas: from the Shrub to Tom Delay, I'm feeling an inordinate amount of sympathy for the Dixie Chicks and their sense of shame!

Back to the point to the thread:

climbing in hot, humid weather vs. climbing in cool/dry weather:

greasy holds vs. high friction
maximal sweating vs. minimal sweating
inefficient muscles vs. efficient muscles
bus vs. no bugs

I'll climb in anything becuase I'm addicted, but I know what conditions I prefer!

I get pissed when I climb in the summer because I feel like I fall on shit that I shouldn't be falling on because of the humidity. Everything feels so damn hard. I usually just try to have fun in the summer though and not try to project anything too hard (when I do get out).

Like I said, that's all about leg pulling!

(But you do have to admit that country music is the fault of southerners  )

Yeah, it gets pretty nasty in the summer. We went to the Lode yesterday and I took a beat down just trying to warm up. Everything was pretty greasy and the bugs were annoying for sure, but that's all part of it. I had fun and feel confident that my project will go.

Even after spending the day knowing you hacked on country music...I'm shocked that anyone wouldn't like a little fiddle and slide guitar...man o man. :?
