All this talk about Indiana rock is making me sick... Put up or shut up!.. j/k... pleeeeease fill us in if you know of some good rock.
I just remembered on one of my road cruises I spotted a nice looking cliffline peaking over the trees near Rome, Indiana. I was traveling east on 66 from Cannelton through Rocky Point and somewhere in the neighborhood of Rome I spotted the cliffs straight east and slightly south as I was coming to a left hand turn. I was only in to hiking at the time and always liked clifflines and made note of it. It's a toss up whether it's in the Hoosier Forest or not. If I had to guess it was maybe 60' high cliffs around 300' long, but that's from a faint image in my head so don't hold me to that estimate.
Maybe I can entice Andy and some others to make a trip over there with me and see if it's climb worthy and possibly locate an owner somehow.

Hey man, said I was just kidding(j/k) about the put up or shut up.
I can understand wanting to keep it secret , but there aren't hundreds of people looking for Indiana rock who would invade the area.

Yep, already know about many of the SoIL spots. Definately going to be there a lot this summer. Many of the areas in SoIL are within 100 miles from me. I was just hoping by chance there was something in Indiana within maybe 50 miles. I heard Hindostan Falls has some climbing and it's 86 miles. Dawson Bluffs in KY is 76miles. Even the area I mentioned seeing earlier is 65 miles. These are all the closest areas I know of.

Dude, listen to ribeye steak, he knows what he is talking about. The only place other than SoIl close to us is Dawson Bluffs. Your next options are TN or the Red. Might make a pass at Elephant Rocks in Mizzou if you get the chance.
goodguy, SHUT THE HELL UP!
You've been saying there is rock in Indiana for months now, show us a dang picture!
