Well you can call me mad as a hatter if you want but these truths I hold to be self-evident. You put Nukes in the hands of anyone and you've a better chance of someone pulling the trigger! Jihadist,Muslim and islamist all have blown themselves up and taken innocent lives. They do so on a DAILY BASIS!! I know youre gonna mudder some shit about American collateral casualties blah, blah blah. If given the choice I wouldn't give anyone nuke capability...ever heard of non-proliferation.

So lets take apart your ascertation that Jihadista and the vocal right wingers(American) You are out of your fucking mind! You don't see Right wing,Christian, anyone blowing themselves up in an American mall killing innocent people. You can't even compare the two.

You guys are just gutless. Admit it! You ain't got the guts to defend yourself much less stand in the gap and defend the innocent. You've never "served" anyone other than yourself.

Seriously, you guys sound like you don't even believe in this country. So what exactly do you like about this country.

Caribe, you sound like a contrarian. I mean really, that old nugget about WMD's please...so tired. It was one point in that speach. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE believed that Saddam had WMD's. Some still do,You can count me in that group too. I mean we saw the results of them in the '80's. You did get the memo, didn't you!

i dont know... the headline from that article makes me immediately suspect the integrity of the journalist. to say that "bush was right" is waayy different from saying that "we havent changed the policy"... especially in this case. to change the situation (policy) over there would take a time machine.

Nice try at an excuse, but "situation" is not anything like "policy". Time to consult the ol' e-dictionary my friend.

The shit they used in the 80's we sold to them. We knew what they had--we sold it to them. Iraq WMDs was simply a lie. We have them under too much surveillance and the evidence was too weak to believe WMDs. Then there was that ridiculous Nigerian story and the outing of outing of Valerie Plame. Patriots my ass. BTW: I never believed that Iraq had WMDs. I got into an email flame war with my brother and my brother in law about this when the Iraq war was kicking in. I hope they liked the taste of crow.

we are blind to that which we do not wish to see...

all im saying is that the title of the article: "Obama says Bush was right" is pretty retarded... just because he can't change the policy doesn't mean that he thinks Bush "was right". it's bad journalism (actually, it's not journalism at all...)

Totally circular argument going on here. Obama promised to change U.S. policy. Now he's conducting the wars pretty much the same way Bush did, and you say it's because he Can't change U.S. policy, while others of us say that it's because he now realizes the policy is correct. Whatever.

Caribe, This is not to say we should have gone into Iraq, that was optional, only the hindsight provided by history will help us determine if it was the best move, or not. Afgahnistan was not an optional war, however. It had to be fought, just ask Obama.

Actually, it didn't have to be fought, the Taliban could have simply turned over Bin Laden, but they wanted the war because they were either sure they could win or, more likely, knew that Bin Laden would implicate them for their complicity once he was in U.S. custody.

I wish more people knew Obama is working for the same people Bush was working for. If you look at the people who attend annual Bilderberg club meetings, the evidence of conspiracy is way too obvious to refute. But since most people seem to care more about breaking news on the false 'war on terror', I guess they don't have too much to worry about. Obama's a fraud. That is the truth. But we never really hear it because the owners of all the major media companies ATTEND THE BILDERBERG CLUB MEETINGS. This whole article is just a distraction. As long as you're not developing psychic/spiritual senses or learning about their horrible history of conspiracy against the human population, the Illuminati (at the top of the pyramid power structure) don't really care what kind of news you read. Republican, democrat, Obama, war on terror, war on drugs, it's all the same, all bullshit, all merely a distraction. The truth will set you free.
