you all make Jesus sound like a pussy! Jesus was tough and could kick anybody in the nuts if he wanted to. you don't just take all that he took if you arent tough. I liked when he said peace on the jay ohh ohhs - that was so fuckin awesome! Way to go Jesus! I also liked when he saw Peters house - that was sweet! He knew the goddam jay ohh ohhs were pussies and was jus trying to see what all they had. Even peter admitted that being a jay oh ohh was the same as being a pussy and became a christian! Christians kick ass!

Yes you are correct. Religion does not translate to loss of freedom. Free will gives you the option to live whatever kind of life you would like, and if you are following Jesus's teachings then there is no fear of condemnation, only the joy of knowing that there is something much better waiting for you after this life. Jesus didn't want his followers to live in fear, that is why he sacrificed himself. The only ones who should be afraid are those who are only living their lives for themselves, and that is a sad existence anyways.

Yes you are correct. Religion does not translate to loss of freedom. Caution - if you believe there is something better waiting for you in an after life, just be sure to remember to live in this time and in each moment...because it's really the only thing you have and its real. That way if you do have the benefit of an after life then its all a bonus. And if it turns out you are just "dust in the wind", then at least you had some authentic moments.

Are you really assuming JC is an historical figure? I have met a few Christians who do not, but they still retain a cogent dialog about matters of Christian faith.

Are you saying that YOU believe it to be a FACT that Jesus never really existed? If so then that would be an act of faith, because it can't be proven or disproven. Faith is the foundation of religion, not science or history.

It's an interesting theory, one worth researching, but certainly not fact.
