it seems like you boners think the goal was to trespass, not to climb tasty routes. i know for a fact that neither T or any of the other developers ever went into the process with a "fuck the landowners, i want to park my shit where i want, build some huge goddamn trails and litter to my heart's content" attitude.

they went out in the woods, hiked around and brushed off a couple rocks(and in groups of 2-3 at the most). don't pretend this was some diabolical plot or enormous transgression. if the land permission works out, i'll bet the whiners quiet down a whole lot.

chances are we'll lose 99% of it despite kentucky's awesome recreational liability laws.

i'm 0-1 with landowners this week to the tune of about 50 problems, including a few of the best hard lines in the state. i'm gonna try and sweet talk em (with robust data sets!), but my back-up plan is to hit-up new areas with ninja tactics, silence, and a laminated copy of KRS 433.883.

well, at the moment they are landowner approved only with my escort...PM me if you want to go this coming weekend. It is a non published area. I am making friends with the guy before asking him if an onslaught of self entitled slobs can abuse his rocks, poop in his yard, and leave cigarette butts and trash for him to pick up...
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

you should really use pigsteak as your 'diplomat'. If you've ever seen him sweet talk the locals you'll know why I say this. It's amazing to watch.

Offering up free BJ’s generally does he trick, good work Piggy. We do need to work on access. Anyone with a reputable name like the RRCC interested?

TB and crew discovered this bouldering area. Without it, I would have been freezing my ass off on some sport climb in the Gorge. Instead, I haven’t roped up in two months. Thanks guys, the place is sweet.

Publishing an online guide of the problems, well I did find that surprising and preferred the secrecy and ninja stealth techniques of way back say two months ago.

If Tommy’s cool with it (and its his call), for the time being, how about removing the web link and, let Sweet Lips Piggy, etc. continue to work on access?

i pulled the link over a week ago.

publishing it was - in retrospect - fully pushed by ego (ummm dude i already did that. yeah, i did that too.) and an obsession with the aesthetics of problem names (Poop Swindler is funny but not really classic).

i'm glad people are stoked and getting out there to clean stuff. there is a Poop Swindler's ton of rock in and around London.

cheers
