Geez, lighten up Francis! So I didn't want to drag up, include all those past incidents; I wasn't posting here to rewrite history. You want to continue living and climbing with your hostilities and shit, well that's your problem.
This all started out about a sticker, and ways to promote and help the PMRP. You jumped all over the 5.7' issue, and I chose to defend and respect the basic climber. Sad it has to be all about numbers and elitism once again, so check your fukN mouth and get a clue about life, dude.
Ok.

A. I didn't weigh in on this retarded idea until just now, so before you blame me for having "jumped all over the 5.7 issue", please recheck the posts.

B. If you didn't want to "drag up past incidents" or "rewrite history", then don't. When you said that the elitism began with the comp/5.14 era, you were rewriting history.

C. Its not at all about numbers and elitism until you spout off the ridiculous idea that it is. Its about having a clue what you're talking about versus just sprayin bullshit, which incidentally, is what you do.

D. If you chose to actually defend and respect the "basic" climber, you wouldn't have sprayed your false bullshit. All that did, assuming you are the representative of the "basic" climber, was make the "basic" climber look like a complete idiot, with no knowledge of the history of this sport.

E. If you knew half of what you pretend to, or climbed half as much as you claim, you'd have a clue... but you don't. Next time you decide to state your opinion as a fact, be prepared to back it up with more than just "get a clue about life, dude".

I can loan you some books if you want.

Saw a woman last night, with a 13.1 sticker on her car. She was smoking. Draw your own conclusions. :)

or do you mean she was a smoker?

maybe the car was her husbands....you must be a liberal, jumping to conclusions on outward appearances.

Naw man, the oval on the other side said Runner Girl or some such nonsense. It was clear, the subject maintained dicipline to get just fit enough for 1 shot at a halfie... once she got it and the stickers she was out of there.

I think I’ve changed my mind about the number grade stickers. They would be just as gay as a 13.1 sticker. However there is something funny about a 5.7 sticker, especially when seeing that 5.13 climber step out his car.

The Gunks do route name stickers, High E, Madame G, MF, etc. Not sure we have enough routes that are as famous to justify a sticker.

I also like the PMPR and RRG idea.

BTW, I saw a 13.1 sticker on a car in the parking lot of Rockquest last night. :?:

I saw the same car in RQ parking lot. I wouldn't have had a clue what the sticker meant, had it not been for this thread. That made the sticker that much more retarded. It should have come with a leather helmet.

excellent. the 5.7 sticker AND some yellow lycra pants too. As for a meaningful or famous route name for the Red? The Motherlode' says it all I say. That's a message that gets through for sure.

How about a "Muir Valley Practice Wall" sticker?
I've been a gumby longer than you've been climbing.
