For those who have done Adventures of Leper Nurse, did you find the route dirty at the top? At some parts it almost looked like the crack was too shallow for jams before hitting dirt at the back. Would be a great climb if it wasn't like that. Also seemed a bit harder than a 9.

Soft for 9, but yes, dirty. Thats the criteria for RRG classic, right?

I just found the tight hands (for my hand size) to be a little strenuous. Maybe dry rock would give me a better idea of the grade, too.

you find it soft for 9 dub?? soft for 9+ yes but as far as 9s its burlier than some. i don't think it's too dirty, better than it was a while ago. just needs a little more love.
and like dub said, that is the criteria of a classic. find me a trad pitch that isn't dirty at least some, sand, cobwebs, mud, flying squirrel, body parts, etc.

I'd have called it 8+ish. I'd say Andromeda Strain is dead center of 5.9, and I thought AOTLN was quite a bit easier, with similiar climbing.
