Sometimes it's the "discovered" photos that surprise me the most. It's best not to drive too close behind me, because I often slam on the brakes, whip off the road, grab my camera, and...well, if you're in E. KY and you see some idiot lying on his back beside the road, with a camera pointed toward the sky, it's probably me.

That's how this one happened in a deserted lot next to the bypass in Mt. Sterling:

And yes, I have had some interesting conversations with police officers and security people...right after 9/11, I naively decided to take photos near a power plant...that was very interesting!

Sunday at Yellowstone, near Mammoth and at the Boiling River, and today at Lava Lake in the Lee Metcalfe wilderness in the Spanish Peaks: still having fun even if it isn't climbing....

Hey, I just watched that again the other night. I really like it...I wonder if there's climbing in Tuscany....
