I guess I sound like a cheerleader for creatine. (be aggressive, b-e-aggressive. b-e-a-g-g-r-s-s-i-v-e)
actually I haven't personally used it recently, but the case I am making is not for muscle gain.
again- (read previous posts in this thread) 2 mechanisms for creatine (that I am aware of). 1. maintain a positive nitrogen balance- read anabolism (building) of muscle.
2. re energize high energy phosphate bonds of ADP back to ATP. More ATP, more muscle contraction, more force, something like that.
Using creatine as needed, not on a loading then maintenance cycle and not with the intention of building muscle, would (I think) utilize the ADP to ATP aspect of creatine.
No signficant muscle gain.

Yeah, I took it for a long time, then I started again about a week ago and my hands have been aching more than normal.
On a side note, Krogers has this drink mix that has Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM in it. Each packet has 750mg Glucosamine, 300mg Chondroitin and 150mg of MSM. It takes 2 packets per Nalgene. So really that is the same as my one of my 3 per day supplement.
Is too much of this a bad thing? I'm taking 2 per day of the supplement and I probably drink 2-3 Nalgene's a day with this mix in it.

Glucosamine dosage in clinical studies of arthritis has typically been 1.5 g/day, as a single dose or in divided doses up to 3 times per day. 3 , 6 Doses of up to 3,200 mg/day have been used in trials, but evidence for improved efficacy at this dosage has not been established. 3 Healthy young adults had no adverse reactions from infusions of 9.7 g, while 1 in 5 subjects experienced headache when 30.5 g was infused. 3

I know it stopped some pains and others it didn't. I figured the other pains were from tendon problems. The pains it works on came back after I stopped taking it so it's a bit like taking ibprofen. a short fix

Ray,
What's your timing on taking everything. All in the morning? Some pre/post workouts? Do you take everything every day?

Cytomax - all day on climbing days (not gym days)
Muscle Milk - post climbing
L-Glutamine - post climbing
Multi - every day
For me it's all about recovery. I'm looking for anything to aid in recovery so that I can train and climb to the max without too much rest.

Gluc doesn't work at all or it doesn't help to increase dosage?
