Respect and consideration go both ways. That guy was obviously being a jerk for yelling that in front of your child. On the flip side, I have seen people's kids at Migel's be really obnoxious (screaming, whining, talking really loud at 6am "MOMMY, I WANT THIS ONE, MOMMY LOOK, MOMMY, MOMMY, HEY WHAT"S THIS?!, CAN WE PET THAT DOG!?, WHO"S THAT?") Another time some kids were throwing a stick for my dog who was tied up to our tent (without asking us first). Of course, the dog broke it's leash trying to chase the stick and also tore two holes in the tent by the kids throwing the stick at the tent and the dog catching it and shaking it. I'm cool for kids to be there as long as their parents use some good :judgement in teaching them how to behave.
