Even though you weren't there, JB, I want to say thanks because I rarely get quality time with VA anymore. I got a few moments last night.

Yeah Meadows, those moments were great! I had a tear come to my eye when you mentioned that you were sad at missing the opportunity to get to rip your shirt off and throw it at JB. I was sad with you.

And JB, one word, "wuss". What does your ankle have to do with playing guitar? Is that some sort of new party trick we are unaware of? The microphone looked so sad all alone up at the front, in the spotlight with no one singing to it.
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

You could've sang VA! Jill and I over-napped and were bummed not to be able to hobble over to CG. But really JB, a sprained ankle? What are ya using a wha-wha pedal with your guitar? If not ya should...that'd be cool. Anyway you should come over and hang with us invalids. Jill has a great bruise on her foot and I ache in several places.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

What, Miss Meadows? Have we stopped throwing panties at JB?
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

I actually wanted to come play, but i was in some pain, on lots of drugs, and my "nurse" told me I shouldn't and that she would not be driving me. I definitely could not have driven myself over there... well i coulda, but people could have died.

so, um... well...

yeah, i'm a wuss. big fat one. low pain tolerance. ouch.

Steve, what the hell had you guys all gimpy? more "ultra" running?

No, not "ultra". Just a regular 26.2 miler. I've had harder days, but my feet haven't.

Yikes man, welcome to the DL. I spent yet another wonderful weekend in my house. After this wakeup call I realized once again how much a pain in the ass healing is. Here's hoping you can get back on your feet with a quickness.

Stay off it, be patient, and get better. I'm looking at 2 more weeks of PT and then me and my bus will be watching the odometer go click, click, click.

well, JB, we'll let you slide just this once.
your nurse is quite intimidating and i wouldn't want to go against her iron will.

heal quick, friend!
