crappy days are the key to marathon success. If you make it a point to run 10k's on days when you dont feel good or the weather is shitty, then run a long run once a week- you got a marathon in the bag. when you hit that 20 mile wall on race day you can visualize back to that crappy run you did back when you felt worse. a marathon is a twenty miler plus a 10 k - with the last 10k being the menatl part. I think I'm gonna run tommorrow :) thanks guys!

Bwa, ha! I ran down and back up from Tower one time to fetch Jesse and Dwayne's lunches from the car! I'm a shameless belay 'ho!

So, now I have no excuse! The hospital just opened a walk/run track on the top floor! Whoo, hoo! No more cafeteria food! I can run on my lunch break.

I'm so fat!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

I ask myself that every weekend day I'm running. Actually today I asked myself why I wasn't skiing, but that is a whole other story. Jill and I ran today because we're training (man I hate that word)...we're practicing for a marathon and a trail run. I really don't wanna try and do these two races off the couch, so I opted to run. Thanks for calling my shit. I'll go post over at Runners World.com.

In climbing related news I did put some new holds on our bouldering wall, the same wall that I haven't climbed on in three months.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

man, I was just playing with you. My wife cut out early yesterday as well, to go for a trail run. she is doing some 35 mile trail run in June. I pity you running addicts. You can't get away from it, and must have your fix.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

Need to confess something, Piggie? I went through therapy and got over my addiction. Therapy was breaking bones and tearing ligaments.

Nah, I'm still thinking about running the Derby provided I can even run by the end of March.

I'm reading a book now about fast walking instead of running; it gives some strong data to back its case, besides the impact argument the case is made for fast walking being so less efficient than jogging it does more to burn calories, drive 30mph in third gear (auto speak here) for a mile vs a mile in fifth gear at 30mph- 3rd gear operates at higher rpm and is inefficient (walking) compared to 5th gear(jogging) hence it consumes more energy... so instead of having an ipod with aggresive music I just need to walk fast and play a triangle thingy
