I actually think instead of feet make it, a certian price for each route, all dependent apon the sponcer. So say the sponcer agrees on 5 dollars a route, that would make you want to go and do more routes cause you would make more money than $.05 a foot. I think. Does that make sence? everything is going through my head so fast I cant keep track of everyhting. im kinda excited LOL

If you say 300 feet of climbing and say each route was 60ft you get 5 routes, .05/foot, 30 climbers, 15 sponsors and did it by the foot we would earn $6750 or so. If you climb the 5 routes and went the $5/route and same climber and sponsor # the total would be around $11,250. This could be a really good thing.

The above calculations are on sleep deprivation, someone please check my #'s. Either way, fun fund raiser.

We could even make it something like 5 dollars for every 5.11, 10 for every 5.12, and 20 for every 5.13 or somthing like that. might be a little far fetched because businesses wont know what the rating mean and what not. I dont know someone get me some sponcers and ill climb 10 hours straight, and hey it would be a great endurance work out. Just think do 10 pitches of 5.13 at $20 dollars a piece that would bee $200 dollars, and thats not including the warm ups LOL (now im dreaming time for bed  )

Sunday sounds good to me. I would be up for some trail work and there are a lot of lines still to be bolted! I really would like to get back there and see the stuff Allah has been doing.

If we are jumping the gun on this just let us know. I think it would be a great thing to try and pull off. If the time frame is to short lets work on a later date. Would the Access fund match funds or maybe a mag or manf ? So many ways to help.
I had spoken with Dr. Bob earlier this morning before I got back on this thread. We had discussed trail maintenance needs & he pointed out that there is a bridge waiting to be installed on the trail to the Gallery. I am open to the idea doing a trail maintenence/bolting day in Sore Heel on Sunday following the breakfast as long as it doesn't distract frrom other aspects of the event. We are in need of a number of volunteers for the entire weekend. There is a private forum on the http://www.rrgcc.org site for the event & I just made a post there about volunteer assignments. If you would like to volunteer and are not already signed up to view the RRGCC Rap n' Rawkus forum, go to the RRGCC site and PM me that you would like to volunteer. My screen name on that site is simply: bill.

As far as a climb-a-thon, we will have to do some thinking on that. It could work as long as there was sufficient interest. Part of my idea for such an event is to have some prizes for the people that climbed the most footage.
