Check out the pictures of Kool Aid and Copperhead in the online guide. Pure unspoiled beauty. There was a small group of us back then, who like many climbers, had huge aspirations, who believed we could climb anything, and wanted to climb everything. But the Gorge was our temple, we held it in awe, and tried to place it above even our most desperate ambitions.

Larry, I just KNOW you have some cool "old timey" photographs of the early days. get those scanned and post em up!! that'd be a cool prize for all of us!!
