Yep, there definately seems to be "higher quality" in the higher grades. Very impressive, dude.

There is a frightingly good linear correlation between the grade and percentage of 3 star sport routes between 5.9 and 5.14c.

I'm even more impressed. I haven't been on most of these routes. Do most of them actually deserve that high of a rating or are they just crimpy jug hauls?
