I think sometimes when you copy and paste in the reply section it will just keep going to the right. Or something technical like that.
Or it could just be from the the monster living in your monitor.

yasmeen, the conscience was before I was turned into the forum bot..I was a nice scrawny, loveable kid from inner detroit, trying to get me some love, when all of da sudden my remaining brain cells were neutralized, and I was turned into a raving, bantering one bot sideshow.....now I am called upon to settle the score, rationally explain enviro freaks, critique the war in iraq, freudian analyze all the posers who show up (it is always a lack of breast feeding as a child), and warn of the dangers of sport climbing.
its a rough job.....

It's not getting to me,I'm having a blast!! It sounds like I'm mad, but I'm not. The only thing that bothers me is that people might not let this shit go when they step away from the computer.

I think you just need to get more love at home J.H. You're obviously starved for attention. "We all wanna be loved, yeah ... " -DCT
I believed that "chick" or "chic" has evolved into a respectful, broadly used, hip term. I think it used to be one of those situations where onle females could say it and not get slapped (kind of like we honkies can't say the N word in the Bronx). I guess it is circumstantial. If Wes walked up to me and said, "What's up chic?" I would instantly believe he's gay and in the flamboyant way (and there is NOTHING wrong with that). If he said, "Chics dig my scars," that's okay. However, I have a problem with "Chic flick" because I tend to meet guys who are more conspicuous with their emotions and love "When Harry Met Sally" or whatever. Even though they are hetero, I deem them more of a "chick" than myself.

CCG, I am telling you the truth, he decked me because he was not paying attention. He was dropping me and was not looking. He said he did that shit on purpose, he didn't. He was just trying to sound malicious while making himself look better. He would rather be known for dropping someone on purpose that to have done it on accident.
If you want to hear the whole debacle P/M me and I'll tell you a story.

All I am saying JH is that when you belay someone who Decks...and you know it IS NOT your fault....you still ponder the 'if I/should have/would have/could have' and it doesn't change anything. I have always been a REALLY attentive belayer. Now, I am even more so. Having a climber Deck is hard on the head. Really. So, I guess I find it hard to believe that there are belayers out there who don't take belaying seriously. It is serious. It is life and death. I am anal about it...but I like 100% attention from my belayer, so I give the same. They are MY LIFE LINE, and I am theirs.
anyways...check your PMs.

I use to take everything everyone said to me to heart resulting in my being extremely confused.
My dad gave me some advise long ago which I then applied and things got much better. All he said was "Consider the source!"
If what is being said is coming from someone you respect, take it to heart. If it's not, does it really matter? I generally take people at face value and give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise. Sure, I've been burned
but from then on, I just consider the source.
I don't know most of you from Adam but I'm looking forward to placing some names with faces next time I'm down. From what I've read so far, there certainly are some interesting personalities woven throughout the climbing community.
I try to tell it like it is, back my position with facts however keep my mind open. One thing that I hope can be said is that people know where I'm coming from. We may not agree on something but I'm not going to slam you for having the wrong thoughts.
