I had a blast!

I think it's so cool how a cyberspace playhouse can attract and unite a group of individuals that can throw down on a Friday night like longtime buddies. It was so great meeting new members and seeing old faces.

Props to Muao Dib for hosting the shin-dig!
Casamig - The tequilla thing was *definitely* a good idea.

Sandy - It was a sweet surprise to see you. You kicked the party into fifth gear with your arrival. Great shots with the digital too! (And I think the guys really enjoyed the body shots between you and kentuckysarah!)
Ho and SCIN - You two were freakin' hilarious! I know you guys are OK but I'm worryied about the apples!
tbone- Awesome meeting you!
Gretchen - You look BEAUTIFUL!!!
Scott - Super fun hangin' with you!
Merrick - You rock! So great to see you.
Wes - For a boulderererer you fit in just fine.

Mia - Welcome home! You were missed, girl!

And to all those I met that lurk and don't post (KitKat - I'm talkin' to YOU!) - Great to meet all of youins and it's nice to know you're out there!

Dear MauDib,
What a fantastic party! There truly are not words to express completely how good my heart felt meeting you, and so many others from this site,in person. Thank you and your roommates for your generosity. I agree with Artsay's and Ynot's comments above!

It was a great time and I'm glad to finally put faces with aliases, such as Christian and Artsay.

Also, I think Merrick is going to look great in a cheerleading uniform, especially when he does the splits in it.

Artsay: that drink was so goooood! The alcohol hit me on the way to the car. Woo!

MauDib knows how to through a party... what is your chip dip recipe? and if your roomate could cook some more cookies that would be great.

My roommates recipe for cookies is: steal steph's package of break and bakes - pop'em in the oven.

My chip dip recipe got made up as i went along - it was a bag of black beans, a large onion, 5 cloves garlic, 2 lime's juice, one whole bunch of cilantro, some jalapenos, small can green chilies, probably 2 cups sour cream, and a block of monteray jack cheese. I blended it and then I put it in the oven for a bit to get the cheese to melt within it.

You know, I had thought about it. I even went so far as to appoint a camp ground manager. However, I believe that person failed to collect the camping fees or maybe he embezzled all the funds.

My problem is that my state of mind during that evening is preventing me from recalling who that person was. You wouldn't know would ya andy

as always it is great being able to put a face to the name. i strongly believe that the closeness of the local climbing community is something that makes the red even more special and unique than it already is.

Oh yeah, Hi Mia. There is something special about the climbing community at the red but also the community of people on this site.
