I saw that, amazing how much America is a bunch of sissies that won't vote for someone who actually deserves it. I already feel embarrased for that guy when he performs in Vegas.
By the way, not knockin the dude, just the fact that he won. It would be about the same as me and my mad average skills winning a real climbing comp!
Thanks for the Dead tune Ben, I needed that.
efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening
No doubt.. every performance that guy gave was a "touching and emotional performance". Those three aren't qualified to judge anything more than a community teen pageant.
So, the leaves are really starting to change now - not yet peaking, but there are some really colorful trees here and there, and the rest don't look to far behind. Maybe sometime this week to the weekend...
Yeah, driving to Eastern Sky Bridge on Sunday was beautiful because you drive through patches of bright yellow trees and the leaves are falling all around you. But when you get a bigger view, there are still more green trees than bright colors.
fall colors are from anthocyanin pigments. Different species produce different molecules and these molecules are different colors. These molecules are always present at all times of the year in the leaf. However the chlorophyll masks them during the spring and summer. The actual presentation is a complicated function of how much pigmentation evolved during the growing season and how the chlorophyll ebbs out of the leaf and the DNA of the organism.
