Go ahead and make up crap about how Pelosi is some supposed "ultra liberal" (not just you Crank-meister, but right-wing goofballs in general), but remember that she is the main person blocking impeachment proceedings against Bush and Cheney. (And for fools who want to claim that she's hungry for power - the full impeachment of Bush and Cheney would make her president, but she's blocking it...)

"ALMOST" the most ridiculous you've ever made...almost.
just don't count the other 3000 ultra liberal blatherings, and we'd have it.
obama was the anointed one 4 years ago..ain't no way in hell pelosi (or clinton) was taking that away. have you forgotten the screwed up process your beloved party uses to get their candidate. pissed when florida "supposedly" screwed voters back in bush v. gore, they show their own true colors and ignore michigan and florida this time around. yep, those libbies know how to throw a party.

What's so ridiculous? You take a swipe, then spin off on a tangent without actually demonstrating your point. Pelosi is one of the several Democratic big-wigs who have made the political calculation that despite their duty under the Constitution and their responsibility to America, that the political backlash of going through with impeachment makes it unpalatable. As Speaker, she's the public spearhead, or in this case bulkhead, blocking the well-deserved process of impeachment of those criminal, anti-American bastards.
Obama the appointed candidate for '08? Baloney. Certainly the large part of the party that is made up of Clinton folks didn't think that was the case. In reality, going into this cycle, Obama was clearly a "rising star", but as far as the party was concerned, I'm sure that he was seen as too risky (being black and young) to be the presidential candidate. Clinton, with her organization and name recognition, was the much safer bet. (Remember at the beginning of the primaries when she exuded the air of inevitability?) It was only Obama's ability to organize (voter registration, turnout at primaries) and his fundraising that got him the nomination. (It didn't hurt that his campaign strategy did a great job of playing the f'ed up Democratic system - sure, Clinton got the big states, but he still ended up with the most pledged delegates.)
The situation with Michigan and America's above ground nuclear testing site, er, I mean Florida is unfortunate, but too bad for them. It's pretty unfair to the regular folks in MI an FL that their state parties screwed them by playing chicken with the rules and loosing, but the party rules are what the are. I have relatively little sympathy. It's all working out well in the end.
Gripe if you want, but the Democratic party tries to represent the interests of the majority of Americans, not just property owning, protestant, white Americans and the corporations that those folks own. The side effect of being a real "big tent" party is that folks don't march in lock step and the process can be messy. Welcome to the world of real democracy.

Do you actually mean "liberals" (as in "progressives") or do you simply mean members of the Democratic party? I know full well that many members of the Democratic party in KY are racist scum. I'll be glad to take you on a tour of the history (and present) of Democratic party racist scum in action here in Chicago. If anything, I'd bet that a bigger proportion of racists have stayed in the Democratic party here in Chicago than have stuck with the Democrats in Kentucky. They know they'll find a welcome in the Republican party.
But on the big picture, do you really think that racists will be as comfortable at the Democratic Convention in Denver as they will be at the Republican Convention in Minneapolis? Say something racist at the RNC and you'll get some nods of agreement, and maybe someone will lean in close and whisper, "Please don't talk like that, really."
