That's why you people don't see me every weekend, split personality is right.

dmw, That's Smilefest in NC, the fest that was started in honor of Jerry. Allgood is in WV, 2 weeks from now. Tickets are just 120 and I'm more than likely going to be there.

spuzo, haven't heard of them but I'll keep an eye out.

Now, post some pics!!!!!

Ahh man I think the DBTs are gonna be at Allgood, well worth the entrance fee if that is the case.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

The one annual Chicago event that I usually try to avoid at all costs...but I figured that it'd be a good opportunity to get some camera practice. The Taste....

There's this ride, Whitewater, where people come splashing down. I found a bunch of kids playing adjacent to the splash zone...even though there's a wall to hold the water in, a decent amount gets out. It was so much fun watching all these children and their unrestrained enthusiasm and happiness in the moment. Listening to them chant in near-unison, "Another one! Another one!" It put such a grin on my face that my cheeks are still a little sore 8)
