I picked up a 94 saab for cheap, not just because of the gas prices, but total costs. My F150 drinks more oil when changed, requires pricer tires, more expensive brakes and rotors, is a bitch to wash without a ladder (I'm 6,1), turning a wrench is no problem for me and is something to do with family on the shitty days, so the extra maintance time of an older car is no problem.

Great, I hope you have a comfy bed and a car that can make it to the southern region. Ask your mom first cus I think she'll like me better than your dad.
