Target is the most non-freindly store on the planet, don't waste your breath Moya. They refused to let a Marine stand out front and collect at Christmas for Toys for Tots or the Salvation Army.

I think a smart thing to do is if you are buying a gift certificate, speak to a store manager to explain the situation and ask if they could match the certificate. Whether it's Target or not, it's just a simple request that may get honored, especially if they are receiving business.

I've been getting a lot of questions about shipping....

In the meantime if you don't have any info you can ship to my house. I'll be sure to get it down there.

Jeff from True North Outfitters has offered whatever gear Matt and Amy need to guide for this weekend (and upcoming trips) until they get enough gear.
We have 16 helmets, at least 10 harnesses, 8 figure 8's, a couple pair of shoes, and ropes if they need any of it.
I (Kim in case you didn't get the canadian girl reference) will be around in the next couple of days seeing what they're missing and can bring it over for them for their group saturday.
Good call Charlie on putting a list together of what they've received. Matt said last night that he wants to be able to thank everyone individually for their help.
Let me know what i can do from here.

Did this marine have a awkward twitch and a gun in his back pocket while smelling of booz?

Have you ever seen a Marine in dress blues acting in such a way or are you baiting me out, in which case, I prefer to spend my energy helping the Tacketts.....

John's Run/Walk kicked in a pair of shoes each for Matt and Amy. They are at the counter at the New Balance Store on New Circle. I wont be back down till after the wknd. Can someone who is headed down sooner, swing by and pick them up? I spoke with Chuck and the shoes are under my name.

Thanks,
Moya
