Awwwww... Ms. Meadows... don't be upset that I witnessed your day of failing miserably on all the easy 11s at Rockquest. I won't tell anyone.

Its our secret.

It's no secret. I'm okay with telling people I failed, and I failed on the one .11 I touched. :D I'll give it a go tonight!

I'd have to weigh in with Odub on this, at least on the aerobic part. On Tuesday this flatlander climbed Yellow Spur in Eldorado Canyon, a 600', old school 5.9. My partner & I swung leads so that I could lead the crux pitch. My only aerobic training is walking the dog. To acclimatize, I hiked to the summit of Green Mountain in Boulder Mountain Park the day before. I could see how a little hill running might have helped on the descent, scrambling 1,000 down a steep gully. My calves were burning a little bit after that!

The only time I do aerobic training is when I plan to go over 10,000' in the mountains. Otherwise it's the liquid training supplement regimen for me :)

Pics of Yellow Spur to come.

I love that crux pitch. Truely a 50 classics. The top out is one of the most memorable, too.
