The http://www.yourclimbing.com grassroots channel for Rocktoberfest is now up: http://www.yourclimbing.com/rocktoberfest Getting involved in this grassroots channel will earn you a chance to score on some schwag. For those of you who may have not checked the http://www.yourclimbing.com website out, it is a kinder, gentler rock climbing forum where Katie Brown is the resident expert. But still they let Matt Nasty post there. So if Nasty posts there it must be cool right? So be cool like Matt and sign up for the Rocktoberfest Grassroots Channel!

Rocktoberfest/RocTrip event locations?
So....RocTrip/Rocktoberfest sounds like a rad, once-in-a-lifetime way to support RRGCC....kudos to all involved!
As I am planning where to camp and climb w/ friends from MA, does anybody know what the general locations/days of the events will be?
Of course the flash comp site(s) might be secret, but what about:
trad clinic?
opening ceremony?
belay clinic?
the film?
the party w/ Odub, bluegrass, etc.?
A general Miguel's/Torrent area vs. Lago Linda/Pendergrass answer would be helpful, too.
thanks, jwa

a lot of it is still in the works. hopefully it'll be soon that we can start to hammer some of this stuff down and get the info out to you.
in the meantime, keep checking http://rrgcc.org/roctrip and http://rrgcc.org for updates.

From what I understand the ceremonies, party, film will take place in the Slade area. Would probably be the best locale for camping if you plan to party. The climbing comp will be in the Southern Region. Not sure about any clinics. They will probably be in the best place for the particular clinic.
