ATC Guide or Reverso?

Placing a cam? Slotting a nut? Slinging a tree?

Just bought an ATC Guide and it's in the mail. I know the Reverso required HMS type biners. Does the Guide require HMS biners as well?
I've had just about enough of this shit.

i don't think so, that is to say I used BD biners and it worked fine
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.

It definitely works better with HMS biners. Much smother. You should use HMS if top belaying more than one climber as well, this is because your one rope won't lock as well depending on how you have your biner oriented.
