Feanor007, Got a 400 2.8 IS last week, so have been trying to get used to it. It is a bear to try to hand hold, though with the IS, it still turns out sharp stuff. Really an amazing piece of glass, I have yet to really showcase how good it is though.

Sorry for all the photos the last week or two - just been working with new stuff.

Last ones for today:

The last two were last night, the second one the shutter was open for almost 30 seconds. I was playing with some settings. It kind of worked. :)

wes, canon or nikon lens. i thought you were shooting with a d200 earlier, but the fisheye shots looked like a canon lens. when i get back to lexington in june i might be looking to buy some gently used nikon lenses if you know anyone who might have some.

Nope, always been canon. I have had a 20d for a couple years, and added a 5d a month or so ago. The 15mm fisheye on the FF 5d is really wide, and fun.

The buy / sell forums at http://www.fredmiranda.com are a good place to start - I got the 400 from there.

bcombs, I really like the last one.

A few that were on David's camera:

A tree in our neighbor's backyard that backs up to ours that was about 50% taller before the storm hit
